97 cav idiot lights on

I have a 97 cav. my problem is the idiot lights on cluster stay on(engine coolant, battery, oil, airbag, seatbelt and theft). Also, my temp sensor guage and tach do not work but speedometer and gas guages work. I replaced the cluster with one i purchased on ebay same year cluster with same guages. The exact same lights are still on and the exact same guages do not work. Prior to all of the lights being on the seat belt and airbag lights were on. One night while driving, my cluster and radio lights flickered and the two guages worked if the idiot lights were off but quit working when the lights came on. I doubt the cluster I put in is bad because the exact same guages and lights are on or do not work. I understand there are two grounds one being somewhere under the dash and I am not sure where the second is located. Perhaps a ground is loose. My alt and battery are fine and no fuses are blown. Can someone tell me if I may be correct about the grounds and, if so, the locations and what to check. Thanks for your time.

When you took the cluster out and replaced it, you had to disconnect a wire harness that powers all these lights. Trace that harness out to where it connects to the computer and see if it is in solid. Lights on would not be a bad ground as much as lights off.
