Tamiya 1966 VW Ragtop

Hi evryone. Finished the ragtop last week. I had many problems with it but liked the way it looks anyway. Painted with automotive paint and standox clear coat. Hope you guys like it.

Very nice. I've been itching to get back to one of my Vdub projects too.

Beautiful job you did on this, I really like the rims too. The 2 of them together makes for a great picture, quite the contrast in cars and building techniques.

Re: Tamiya 1966 VW Ragtop

Hey guy,
Great job, I have been phenomenal this old beetle. The roof is functional?
I have also worked in the same kit from Tamiya. But I built the first version of VW Herbie, AKA 'The Love Bug. I also made the ragtop.

I saw somewhere that you had purchased the Herbie stripes/numbers somewhere?

The decals I put in my model is discontinued. There is an Australian manufacturer that sells decals for Herbie. I've bought from that seller and is a reliable person.
