Where is the OBD 1 connector??

Where is the OBD1 connector on a 94 Dakota??? Checked the standard places under the dash and there is nothing there.

Someone said under the hood but where specifically???

Have you tried the key dance to retrieve codes?? Key off/on, off/on, off/on within 5 seconds. Your chec engine light should flash ( example= flash, pause flash flash means codes 12) Post the code numbers. Do not know where the connector is.

There is no check engine light.... took the dash out and there isn't even a place to put a bulb in.... I am thinking the previous owner was a half assed back yard mechanic and messed things up and didn't fix the problems...
