Rear Window doesn't open

Over the years, my back windows go for a while not opening. It seems to not be the same side, or changes from being able to open from the front and not the back, or the other way around. Doesn't happen a lot.

The resent issue, the left rear window doesn't work from the front or back switch (thank God it quit closed with all the rain we've gotten lately). When I try from the front, I can hear a little click noise, so I think it's getting power.

With intermittent window issues, is there a typical issue I can look at with the windows switches?

Also, a few years a go, I took the window control strip on the drives door. The person who did it, used a screw driver. He broke the tab off the front that holds it in. I got a new one. Is there a trick to getting the front tab thing over to remove the control switch with out breaking it?

Thank you,
Chris.
