I have problems with the daytime running lights. I have tried many fixes and i finally figured this out. I took a large binder clip ( large and black) took the fuse box cover off and attached the clip to the front module (silver) and the fuse box front at the top together and just laid the fuse box cover on top. So easy a must try. Contact me if there is a problem. I have daytime, low beam and high beam now.

Re: 2002 dodge caravan weird headlights
The down side? It sounds like you're making the IPM even more susceptible to corrosion. They are already infamous for creating any number of electrical headaches due to corrosion on the circuit board internal to the IPM. Instead, remove the FCM (that silver box) and either remove any corrosion on the connector contacts or ever so slightly twist the blade contacts to make better contact.
