water pump replacement
what is the best way to gain access to the water pump ? I have done it on my 94' 3 cylinder, but now my wifes 2000' metro 4 cylinder needs water pump. Its alot tighter in the 2000' and was needing advice like take fender off or something like that .

Re: water pump replacement
You need to do a Timing Belt replacement plus one or two more steps for the water pump. A lot of the work will be done through the wheelwell, it's necessary on a four cylinder to remove the passenger side motor mount and drop the engine down a couple of inches for good clearance.
