Rear window off track

2000 Deville, passenger rear window. I heard a loud crack when I hit the down button and then the window would not go up or down. I can push it up by hand and it stays in place, but I can just as easily push it down. Any hints on taking the door apart and resetting the window on its track? Thanks

that's what it sounds like that it's off track and when you go messing with that has a cable instead of just the moter to run your window. you need someone that no's about the cables from moter to window you can get hurt real bad if you don't know what your doing.
