2004 Drivers side low beam doesn't work hi beam does
The drives side low beam will not work but the hi beam does. Both passenger side lights work. I have replaced the bulb and have checked the fuse (#51 in the engine compartment) and it is OK. Even replaced it with an separate fuse for good measure with no luck. Would appreciate any help an the next step to troubleshoot/fix the problem.

the diagram i pull up for a 04 base malibu shows the left low beam fuse to be in the underhood fuse block position 7 and is a 10amp fuse.
