automatic locks and driver side window not working

My driver side window all of a sudden stopped going down ( literally overnight) I thought it was the master switch console on the driver door panel- i bought a second one and exact same problem ... the automatic locks and the driver side window does not work at .. the other three windows all work no problem with the master switch on the drivers side door..
both the locks and the driver side window just stopped working all of a sudden .....? not like the window was getting slower over time...

I have checked all the fuses .. nothing is blown ...

Any ideas?

Ryan

YEAR MAKE AND MODLE?

Check power and ground out of master switch to window motor and lock solenoid.

Yes
One in each door.
And may be operated by relays.

Re: automatic locks and driver side window not working

It has to be before the doors I'd think as both the driver and passenger automatic lock switches are not working -unless the ground in one door completes the circuit to the other door.

I'll have to open up the door panel and find out ...

Re: automatic locks and driver side window not working

Some times you can check it by pulling window and lock switches out of door panel.
A good repair maqnual with a good wiring diagram would help on testing and repair.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
