Quick Question regarding Water Pump

My truck is 100 miles away with a bad water pump. I need to know if I am going to have to remove the radiator or some such nonsense to get the pump off? Is this a fairly easy job? I will only have my basic tools with me when I go down to fix it. The truck is a 1986 720.

Thanks,
Dave in NC
