1999 ranger heater fan only works on med and high

heater fan only works on med and high, do you think it's a bad blower motor or a the switch?? thanks in advance skip

More than likely it's the blower motor resistor pack. Mine's an '04 but I believe yours in in the same place.
Open the hood and find the blower motor and follow the wires from the motor to a plug on the plenum. Unplug it and remove the two small screws holding it in place and replace it with a new one.
The only problem you might have is the plug might be corroded due to water and heat so you might end up replacing it.....Mike
