2000 2.5 Heater Fan Only Works on High

Blower motor only works on "high" on my 2000 Wrangler 2.5

Any ideas?

I have come across this in other vehicles but not on my Jeep. In my other vehicle I had somewhat of the same problem. It would only work on the two last high settings. Turned out to be the blower motor switch. It is a little switch, kind of like a curcuit board that has five on board leads on it. The five meaning the five different blower settings. Three of the leads on the board were wore out causing only the non worn leads to work with the blower. I have had to replace this twice on the same vehicle. Again, not sure if it will be the same with the Wrangle but it is worth a look.

IT IS DIFFERENT ON THE WRANGLER. YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE SWITCH THAT THE BLOWER KNOB IS ATTACHE TO. IT IS A BEAR TO GET OUT OF THE CLIMATE CONTROL CENTER, AND THE ONLY PLACE I'VE FOUND THAT HAS THEM IS A PICK N PULL. YOU COULD TRY AUTO ZONE, OR SOME OTHER SUCH, BUT IF YOU GO TO THE DEALER, THEY TRY TO SELL YOU THE ENTIRE CLIMAT CONTROL.
