heater fan only works on high

my 98 2 liter heater fan doesn't work on the lower two settings, just on high. How can I fix this?

you should check the switch in the dash. in my GL my high would not work because the high setting in the switch was mealted ez fix.

That was another of the recalls for my 97. The lights in the radio quit working after the dealer replaced the heater switch.

It sounds like it needs a heater blower resistor. it is on the passanger side under the dash by the blower motor it has a 4 wire connector going to it. make sure the wiring isn't burnt either. very common problem
