floor shifter install

hey people I finally wanna upgrade my 93 with a floor shifter I've seen ppl use shifters out of anything and they all look good, I gotta friend who can put it in but I wanna make sure we are doing it right wat all will i need a special bracket etc i don't plan on using my column no more, and is a truck shifter better than a car shifter please somebody let me know thanks.

if you get a camaro console and shift cable ,bracket, it may work..

scrap yard search ..for parts..

what about seats ? caddy leather ..buckets ?

my interior is the traditional burgundy fabric I was thinking of gettin bucket out of a police caprice yr 92 at a junkyard round my way and have them restitched to match the rest of the car. Any yr camaro will do?
