'95 Riviera: Floor Shifter Button Hard to Engage
'95 Riviera. Co-worker's car, no details given. She says the button on the top of the shifter that you depress to put the car in gear won't engage easily. The dealer did something last year that cost her $180 - and it was better for a time, but now it's back to the same old thing.
This sounds like an easy one. Maybe just a plunger switch, or some cheap plastic linkage that's worn out??? |

Re: '95 Riviera: Floor Shifter Button Hard to Engage
She added today that it only happens when it's cold outside. In the summertime it's not a problem...
