Air Compressor Purchase
Happy New Year everybody!
I know this is not technically a Camaro or a Firebird issue, but I don't trust anyone else. I was a VERY good boy this year and have about 300 Somalians that Obama doesn't know about to buy an air compressor for my home garage. I will be using it for the same thing you use it for, working on my Camaro! I go online and read the reviews, one says the thing is awesome, one says the thing is a turd. Anyone have a suggestion about an air compressor in the 300 dollar range that will keep a smile on my mug as I rebuild the motor on my Camaro and then, down the road, have the cajoles to media blast any rough spots on the body and provide air for a spray gun for a paint job? As always, any information will be greatly appreciated. You all know what I need, cause you do what I want to do. Thanks again everybody! Jack

Re: Air Compressor Purchase
I was going to say for the money available, you could get away with 30 gal/5-6hp compressor and be satisfied, provided you are not spraying. Since that's the case that you will be watnign to spray, you will need an 80 gal. [it gets VERY annoying being halfway through a good spray and 'poof' stop and wait for the tank to catch up'.
Over all, I will say, down the road, you'll find yourself wanting an 80 gal anyway. It's like 2 inch-idus with a TV, when you got a 35", you want a 37".
