speedometer issues
I was driving my civic the other day and all of a sudden the speedo stopped working the engine check light came on. if i go to depress the brake pedal the speedo will start working agian but when i take my foot off the brake pedal it stops working. I have not put the car on the code reader yet but i was looking to see what could be the issue?????

You are not getting your VSS signal (speedo & check engine light) It almost sounds like a bad connection, you could possbly reseat the connector on the VSS.

I have a similar problem with my civic. I have already replaced the VSS but the speedometer still does not work.
