Water pump

Changing water pump on 98 izuzu rodeo, do you have to remove hormonic balance to get to water pump? Or do you just need to take covers off?

If you mean the crank pulley, then yea, my experience is it's gotta come off on both 2.2 & 3.2 to get timing belt off, which's gotta come off to get at WP.
