98 3.4 ignition issue

Hi Guys, Trouble shooting my wifes 4runner. Has a severe miss that comes on as soon as it warms up. Only code it is setting is a misfire on #2 & #5

In troubleshooting it, I found the coil for #2 was firing the spark 2X times what it should be at. (compared to the other two coils) I swapped the coil with one that is worlking correctly & the problem stayed in the same bank. So, what I learned is that the ECU is probably telling the coil to fire at an accelerated rate, & at the wrong time.
Any guesses? Cam position sensor? Crank position sensor?

Its not setting a code for anything but the misfire..

I am not too familiar with toyota, & don't want to start throwing money into a sensor it might not need.

Thanks, 68RT
