Re: 92 3.4 ignition problems please help
On that engine, if you have crank signal and a no start condition, most likely you have a bad ignition module

Are you measuring A/C voltage?
Check the resistance of the crank sensor and wiring...should be between 900 -1200 ohms. Check the A/C voltage of the crank sensor (while the engine is spun over) if it is less than .1v a/c then the sensor or wiring is bad...over .1 v a/c the module is bad

Thank you for the info...... the crank shaft sensor puts out .2-.3 volts ac when turning over. the module is new. is there a way to check the module to see if it was bad when i bought it. or could it be the ecm. do you know what the voltages should be going from the module to ecm.
thank you gking 92 lumina euro (3.4) |
