2003 Expy Air Suspension problem

My wife 2003 expedition's Air suspension is screwed up. The drivers side is all the way lifted up and the passenger side is all the way down (front and rear) causing the vehicle to be very uneven. Has any one else had this problem? Also, if I switched to normal struts, can I use any brand spring/strut part or is there a certain type specifically for this ?

Did you try to jack truck up with Air suspenshion switch on?

No I haven't jacked it up recently. I do recall jacking it put a couple of years ago.

hello I have a 97 expedition EB same thing !!rite side down by 3 inches.. did u get this resolved ??? please advise ASAP if u can ... thx jules44

Because of age, it's probably a bad rubber air spring leaking air.
Picture a bad tire, that always need air, because of leakage.

I finally got some strutmaster strut and got rid of the air suspension. It took about 4 hours to put all struts on but once we knew what we we doing the back ones were a piece of cake. One the front air struts was like a deflated balloon.
