Transmission Problems 2001 Ram 1500
I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 that shifts erratic. Under normal acceleration, When taking off from a stop, it goes from first gear to second gear and acts like it is shifting into third gear, but goes back to second. I give it more gas and then it shifts fine. At a low speed going up hill, it acts like it dosent know what gear to be in. Thinking of replacing the governor pressure sensor and governor solenoid. I have had this checked for error codes and it shows none.
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and how you resolved it. |

Re: Transmission Problems 2001 Ram 1500
you are on the right track. The governor pressure sensor and solenoid are known problem areas on these transmissions.
