Front Hub Assembly 99 GM
Is the OEM front hub assembly a life of the vehicle or require replacement at a specific interval/mileage?

Re: Front Hub Assembly 99 GM
It is a replace as it fails item. You could replace on a schedule if you wanted. We have lost hub berings at different times. We have replaced them under warranty and sold some with over 150k on them and have never been replaced.

Re: Front Hub Assembly 99 GM
I've only seen a handful of people need these changed. Like way2old said, they only need to be replaced when they are failing/failed. If you hear noise from them and you're sure it's not the brakes, than replace the noisy one. Otherwise don't worry about them.

Re: Front Hub Assembly 99 GM
Thanks guys - that's what I thought, but not familiar with assemblies, only the inner and outer bearing set ups.
