MFH Ferrari 500 F2 1/24
Hi everyone.
After almost 2 years build time i have finaly finished my Model Factory Hiro Ferrai 500 F2. It tooks me so long cause i have not the reference pictures i needed to complete the modell. After all i got the chance to meet Mr. Vonlanthen at Bern Switzerland to make a Picture session on his original Ferrari 500 F2.   So after all there was nothing in the way anymore to complete the build.    I have scratch a lot of parts and all the wiring are detailed with other wire. The complete accelerate system is scratch build, cause Model Factory Hiro did not include this parts into the kit, so i took the time to build it by scratch.   I used all my experiences about wheathering, to make the care looks old and real.   The belts for the fuel tank i have made by paper stripes which i have painted and dry brush with different brown colors to look them like leather.  For the seat i used also Model Factory Hiro cloth, which was also dry bruhed for different shades.            At the end it was much fun to build this Model and i gain a lot of experiences more in making model cars. Best Regards Roger

 Really, this is one of my all-time favorite builds As I told you, I just love the way you have handled the weathering on this project. Together with the detailing they make it incredible. Quote:
