Drivers window

I replaced the motor about a month ago on the drivers window with a new one bought off ebay, it worked perfectly for about 2 weeks, then intermittenly quit working and would start again. I ve read in other forums about issues with the window switch on silverados going bad and being resoldered. Has anyone here had any issues with the window switch. Ive heard of repairs made to these switches, was looking for information concerning this repair. Thanks in advanced for any help i can get on the issue. I have been able to make the window operate with the new motor using a jumper wire bypassing the switch. I will also be looking into the cost to replace the switch.

when you pick up the abs module get the window switch at the scrap yard
