Car wont start - manual
I have a 2001 Saturn sl1 manual transmission. About a month ago the car wouldn't start; no clicking or even trying to turn over. It has happened about three other times with no regularity. I have had the battery, starter and alternated checked and I am told everything is fine. However, it happened again yesterday and has not started since. The only way I am getting around is by push starting. I know there is a clutch switch that must be engaged in order to start the car. Can you tell me if you think this is the problem and if this is something I can replace myself without going to a mechanic? Also, where is it located and how do I change it?

Quote:
It is Wells p/n DR440 or GM p/n 14094368. You may want to write those down in case you get a lowly parts guy that is unable to look it up so at least you have part numbers they should be able to cross reference.
