headlight issue

hey i have 2003 sunfire i am currently having trouble with one of the headlights, i replaced the bulb and checked all the fuses and still no luck. just wondering what else i could check.

Test and make sure you are using a known good bulb & fuse.

The fuse and bulb is good. Still nothing????

i ended up checking the wiring and notice alot of the wires where in bad shape . replaced most of the wiring and the lights are shining bright now. Thanks guys

i just noticed that after fixing the headlights that the highbeam do not function. i tested the bulbs and they are good. was just wondering what i should check next....

Do the bulbs have two filaments?
One for the low beam, the other for High beam?

The bulbs i have only have one filament in them...

The resistance of corrosion can cause the bulb to not work, clean sockets, and use a bulb grease for protection.

CRC Electrical cleaner.
Make sure, your car doesn't require a two filament bulb!
