2005 envoy 6 cyl no fuel pressure

We were driving and the vehicle just shut off on us. A couple times it almost started back up but now there is no fuel pressure. Could something other than the fuel pump have gone out? The obd2 port also is not working along with the pedal adjustment. Any ideas I can try before spending alot of cash on a fuel pump?

If the pump runs and no pressure either a clogged filter, bad pump or bad press. regulator. Disconnect the inline from the filter, careful here though, get a pan under it and prime the pump see if you get a quick stream of fuel, do not crank the engine, be safe here.
