How do you lower your Fujimi models?
I am starting my 180SX soon and I want to know the best way to lower it. I am pissed off that Fujimi didnt give me the option to lower it like they do with the Integra. I really want to slam it because it will be a drifter. Is there anywhere I can read a step by step guide?

Towelboy is absolutely right;
I used a similar technique, lowering teh sprins and reshaping (sectioning and re-gluing) the triangles. This should be an easy way, as long as you cut them at equal lengths. This was used on my ITR and I was really satisfied with results. Oh, and I don't reccomend Theoldboy's method, because you will lose the realism of the suspentions. Olivier |

Just cut and remove whatever interferes with the tire.

you're building the exact same 180SX as i am. what are your plans for it for color and wheels etc.? i'm making mine a drifter as well. it definitley needs to be lowered, as i've seen a couple of built ones on AF that weren't and they look like 4x4's. i'll probably be using the technique of cutting part of the shock off.

I will most likely put 17 inch Advan RG rims on the car. I am not sure what colour to paint it yet but probably a light metallic blue with gold rims or even pearl white with white rims. We'll soon see

Will it work if I just file all the parts on the chassis that joins the suspension and axels onto the car so that the whole suspension/axel assembly sits lower?
