Wow, Super street has definitely shaped up anyways they've got the powerful Pink Yashio S15 as the cover for the super street now. It's a pretty powerful car. If you guys hate super street it doesn't matter because this is probably one of the best or the best super street out there so far. GO GET IT FOR THE S15!!!!!

Then you should go write a letter telling them how much you like that they're featuring this car, so they'll do more like it in the future...

The last thing we need to do is support toilet-paper grade magazines like Super Street that copy/paste their content from superior Japanese magazines which *already* exist.

Thats like writing to APC and complimenting them on their "angel-eye" headlamps and how unique they are -- then, telling them you would like to see MORE angel-eye headlamps for EVERY OTHER car on the road.

Last I recall it was BMW who created the CELIS parking lamp concept. If you like something, buy the original.. not a cheap copy.

Then don't buy it, ever, even when they feature something you like.

But, if you do buy it, give them feedback, so they'll know what you want to see.

Moderator, indeed. Car Modeling forum, mostly, but I tend to wander...

And if I weren't, I'd be a lot less neutral...

BTW, I dont BUY super street because they are crap.. however, I do occasionally run through the magazine in the newstand which is FREE.

I dislike SS, not only because the articles are over-glamourized and crappy, but because of some of their employees need leashes and in need of training. I am surprised their office doesnt have a fire hydrant for their employees to piss on while writing articles..

chu chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! haha that poor bitch.

 I understand 'crappy,' but that do you mean 'over-glamourized?'

And on a tangent, how do you feel about its sister-rag SCC?

i feel that SCC is more hardcore. they focus on all aspects of compact-car tuning. in one issue, they'll have the JIC Magic D1 Nissan S15 Silvia, and in the next article, they could feature a rally-spec 1966 Volvo or a Datsun 510. they're ALL over the board, and ALL of it concerns PERFORMANCE! they don't put a car in there because of the rims it has, or the body kit it has. if it has those, then that's just extra. their main focus is PERFORMANCE.

super street used to be the riciest magazine on the block. while they're starting to be strictly good content, there's still a small contingent of rice showing up. just check out the "reader's rides" section every month and you'll know what i mean. the articles are also bullshit. "walking the duck" and "Nads" and shit like that. they act like a bunch of 2 years olds, and use inside jokes that are only funny to the other staffers. while they do feature ALOT of good cars, the only reason i buy it is to cut out pictures of said nice cars to decorate my room with.

yes, but I am sayin that the magazine has shaped up a bit. Not showing as many ricey cars as before. Showing cars , like I mentioned, the Yashio S15 but I do agree about the articles. They are such shit because everything is a joke and it sometimes pisses me off because we didn't read the magazine just to get jokes we read the magazine for the cars!!! The cars have been cool lately.

Heh, you do that too... I cut out all the feature Silvia's from the 5 or 6 super street magazines I bought, I have a nice big pic of the Signal one, the Blitz one, and a few others that were in Turbo... I can't cut up my SCC mags, I use them to pass time during the graveyard shift at work.

I am actually ashamed to admit that I bought Super Street for a while... then I read SCC and Turbo (KICK ASS MAG)... now I just read the internet, magazines are expensive w/o subscriptions.
