Not too bad at all. Yeah but your reaction time should be half that, with a good RT and a better launch you might be able to hit 15 flat or high 14's

I'd say with the right driving you could pull a 14.9 or so. I was suppose to go to the track last night but the local shop here was out of N20 so Empty bottle=no fun at track for me , Well I will see what it will do next friday

BTW did you drive through the water at the burnout box? If so this will hurt your 60' time. I just drive around the water and do a small dry burnout then stage and it works well. If you drive through the water your tread will reatain some of 6the water and it will cause you some small traction(spelling) problems. Anyway you prob already know this though but ai thought I would put it up just in case someone didn't know

yea...i knew that, but i jus avoided the water. i jus went around it. should i do a lil burnout in it? cuz if that helps, i'll try anything. but yea...im hopin for a 15 flat or high high 14's next week...so we'll see wut i can do. i figured it was my 1st time, so i'll jus try better next time.

What does your car run stock because with all your mods i would have thought you would be faster like mid to low 14s

you gotta remember 80% of racing is driver skill. 20% vehicle.

In his case... him (the driver) is holding the car back from its full potiential. But in time he'll learn how to bring out the full potiential and run low ETs.

Everybody sucks at the track the first time... Nothing bad about it. You just get better thats all.

Good run KrN... it can only get better.

first time i went i messed up almost all my launches too. Except for like two where I actually got a decent one. What Rpm did you launch at ? I knew you had to launch at a higher rpm at the track than the street but I didn't think it was that sticky the first time i went. I launched almost at 5k and then feathered the gas a little after the tires started spinning. that seemed to work pretty good. Let me know next time you go.

i was launchin like i do on the street around 2-3k. i didn't correct enough during my runs...so i gotta jus learn from it. yea, the et's for my car stock is around a 15.2, so im lookin for high 14's within the next month or so when i get more experience. im not too worried bout it, jus is something to learn from.

launch higher...
that's for starters...

don't worry about wheelspin, just don't get into the water on street tires...

don't spin the tires, not worth it...

your 60ft times aren't that bad... honestly...

you could get better with a higher rpm launch...

but expect wheelspin off the line... just drive through it

Thats not so bad. Considering it was your first run. I ran my car stock the first time i ever went to the track and was running 16's all night. I felt stupid, cause the guy at the track was like announcing my car..and everyone was like... thats a GSR?? he sucks..I can run consistent 15.4's now. All I have is an Exedy stage 1 race clutch. Spoon filter with Custom Exhaust and Magnaflow muffler.
