replaced fuel filter, input bolt is stripped*$&%%$!

so im replacing my fuel filter everythings goin fine new ones in but fucking a one of the bolts is stripped. its the one that the input fuel line goes through and i cant get it in very securely. it'll stay but it would probably leak, im too scared to start the car and see what happens. i dont know how to replace it because the line goes thru it and i dont know howto take it off etc. can anyone tell me how to replace it or if it would be ok to drive to a mechanic w/o fuel goin everywhere.

LMAO, OMG I'm still here laughing from that reply!

All laughin/kidding aside, how on earth did your banjo bolt (that's the bolt you speak of) to the fuel filter become stripped in the first place? Anywho, should be something the dealership has in stock since that bolt is the same on Tegs, and most other Hondas including even S2000's and NSX's. So if Honda doesn;t have one, check the local Acura dealer as well. If you lived even remotely close to where I do, I'd give you mine since I have a B&M fuel pressure gauge poked into that hole in the fuel filter. Hmm... Those are only about $30 for that gauge, just get one of those, look cool under the hood and call it a day. j/k, I have one for when I adjust my B&M Command Flo FPR.

i wish it were the banjo bolt, because then i can just take it off and replace it. Its not tho, its the other one (no not the service bolt either...). Maybe its where the fuel comes out of the filter but i thot it was where it came in. anyways its the bolt that the fuel line goes through and it has the little thing on the end that keeps the bolt from sliding off so i have no fucking idea how to take it off. is there anyway i can fix it like a tap and die set? i dont really know how that works tho. if a picture would help say so and ill put one up.
