Seriously, that is rediculous. I think it would be hilarious to get some of those white kids down here in Sydney. Sydney is amongst the MOST multicultural cities in the world. Name a country or origin, we have them by the trainload. Racism is virtually unheard of.

Naki, please don't say that 'racism is alive in the deep south'. I live in the South and I am damn proud of it. Racism is everywhere, but many people see it as being exclusively Southern-linked, which is not true. Have you ever heard of Atlanta? Or Birmingham? THe list goes on and on. These cities are in the deep South, but when I go there I am a minority.

With that, I'll say this: Racism is alive everywhere. Its not just whites against blacks. I have been called many names referring to me being white by blacks. Too many people think all whites are out to get blacks and that blacks have never done anything to whites.

But, anyway, racism is gay and I don't and won't tolerate it.

If you'd care to back your assertion that blatant segregation like this occurs in any other school,I'll say that racism is alive there as well.

Racism does exist everywhere,but this would have to be one of the most backward and blatant cases that I've seen reported in a long time. Thankfully this kind of ethnic division is a freak event rather than normal behaviour,but in my mind,there would have to be an underlying current of apathy and dereliction of duty by the wider community for such an obvious display of ignorance and xenophobia to get off the ground
