Need to get in touch with a Pacific Rim Hobbyshop Owner: POSTHASTE!
All right, here's the scoop.
As some of you who have read my posts might be aware, I am in the business of models for profit. I sell prebuilt models over eBay as well as build on comission. (this is in addition to my personal stash which are more highly modified, more esoteric subjects)
As such, in order to maximize profit I have to minimize cost of raw materials. Kits I have done, same with paints, but customizing parts are now a big problem. It's not an issue for the sleds and muscle cars I build. I have enough Cragar SS's and Torq-Thrusts to last a lifetime. But I'm branching into imports and Fujimi/Aoshima wheels are not cheap over here, nor plentiful. And I simply cannot wait on HLJ or eBay seller shipping. My "production line" quota is ten kits done a week. I want, by June, to have at least four of those ten imports. Therefore, I need to have companies like Sakatsu, Studio27, and Modelers in my parts box in spades and I have to do so profitably. My hope is that any Pacific Rim Hobbystore owner who wishes to sell or trade his backstock of these or other Japanese modelling parts, or can help me get a license to buy these parts wholesale from a hobby distributor in the Pacific Rim (I've tried stateside distributors, they don't have the stuff) will be willing to do so for a nominal fee.
Anyone who can help me get in touch with one of these individuals, please PM me or email me, or you can IM me (usually) between 5:00pm-12:00am eastern standard time. Any and all help would be MOST appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
