What to use to touch-up my rims

Hey, since my car's in the shop till next sunday now (stupid clear coats, oh well), I decided I will clean up my rims this weekend. I have two small but noticeable scrathes on one of my rims, its pretty deep so i cant just buff it out or anything like that. I was wondering if anyone knew if there's a certain kind of paint I could use to just fill in the scrathes so they'll be less noticealbe. My rims are gunmetal too, just so u know. Thanx in advance for the help.

You can sand the scratches out. Start with a coarse grit, and slowly work your way up to a 600 or higher grit. Then buff it.

hmmmmm.....

That sounds like it would just make things worse, but im el stupido so i could be wrong, but before i try that i wanna just make sure its clear wat i got. The scratches are kinda like gashes almost, cause they go down deep to where theres no paint, just rim, so wouldn't sanding just make it worse? Also, the scrathes are very thin, so it'd be hard to sand just them. Just lemme know wat u think now. Hope i didnt confuse u too much.

Sorry, I shoulda made it clear that I haven't actually done this before, but I heard that it works...

I also didn't know that your rims are painted which complicates things considderably. I think in your case it would make things worse.

I plan on doing this to my old set of Konig's, so I'll find out if it works or not...
