86 Si &DX lude: are the engine and performance parts interchangeable?

on the 86 preludes i was told the blocks are the same(ET2) and the diff was the Si was FI and the DX was dual-carb.....so wouldn't that make the parts interchangable including the aftermarket parts?

i have a prelude DX dual-carb and i want to put an Si exhuast system including headers.

the reason why is becuase i was told not to long ago the engines in the Si prelude (for my year) and the DX prelude where the same except the fuel system.
