Corner Bulbs
Hey,
I have a 95 Civic. I've been looking for the brightest hyperwhite front corner bulbs, 1157? Who makes the best ones? I've tried so many and they're all too yellow and dim when I have just the parking lights on. Which are the best and where can I get some? Thanks:flash: |

I'd recommend the PIAA Extreme 1157 bulbs. They are stock wattage (8/27w) which is better than the strangely under powered Polarg M14s which are only 5/21w. I have the Polargs right now for my corners, but am about to pick up a set of the new APC xenon 1157 style hyperwhite bulbs tomorrow.

Got the APC hyperwhite xenon "SuperMax" bulbs today, put them in, compared them to my Polargs, and determined that I'll stick with my Polargs. The light the APCs produced was superwhite, with an odd tint of green, maybe from my orange reflector in the housing? Eitherway, they looked not too bad, but they said "look at me, I'm off color" all the way around them, and they didn't seem quite as bright, partly du to the bottom half of the bulb, being a mirrored look "blinder" type of coating that doesn't let any light through on the sides of it. So I returned them for a refund. Oh well... Trial and error. I still think, although I haven't yet tried them, I think that the PIAA 1157 Extreme bulbs will be the best... But I dunno for sure...

I say go with the PIAAs. I used those, and I love them.
