Question 2k +up corner bulbs

Anyone with a 2000+ sentra have any problems getting the driver side corner bulb out?? Any tips, I really don't want to move the battery just to get the bulb out. My se-r is only a week old so I'm wondering if it's a manufacturing problem. THe passenger corner bulb was a sinch to get out. Just wondering....

Thumbs up

thanks sentra styling,
I'm gonna give it another shot this weekend, I bruised my hand trying before. I think it may be stuck, I saw some molding close to it that might be getting in the way. I also checked out those other forums. The sentrab15 one has a nice forum just about spec v. Really sucks hearing about all the grips, but still love the car.

I've been trying to setup an accout at b15sentra, i made a user name miniskyline. however, every time i try to post it says my account has not been enabled.
I just recently purchased a 2002 silver se-r spec v. I paid a petty penny for it so I was upset that the performance numbers aren't what we all expected. There's still hope though, I saw a guy posting 0-60 numbers of 7.1 using gtech. Maybe the production cars are a little quicker than sports compact found...hopefully.
I'm still having problems gettting that damn bulb out. By the way do you know a way of getting rid of the antenna? Once I get a digicam I want to get some pics up on the web. I like what you've done to the SE. I've got lots of questions about sentras =)

Sentra Styling,
Yea that billit antenna looks nice. How much do one of those run? The antenna is a bitch getting off I bet, I've been playing with it a little.
A side question, this is my first new car so I know I have to break it in. The manual says to not run teh car at full throttle in any gear for the first 1000 miles. I've been running the car at full throttle but not past 3000 to 3500 rpms. I was planning to do this until 1500 miles. Any pointers on breaking a car in??

The antenna will run about $20.....I basicaly drove my car when I bought it brand new and I just drove it like a normal human being(so to speak) aother words I didn't drive it like I was speed racer ...Some people would say the break-in period is full of crap and then some will say it isn't,but personaly I'd say take it easy,The oil is pretty nasty on the first change..But just wait patience will pay,,,ou'll soon be able to enjoy your car to it's fullest....:sun:

Question

Funny how this became a two person post.... got a quick question because I just got my plate today. Is it a good idea to get a plate cover. I see in your pics that you have a chrome one. Will it prevent scratching if i do the same, I put the plate on already but it doesn't exactly fit that nice. It slides around a bit and I'm affraid it will scratch the paint. Stupid question I guess...I dunno, trying to focus on exams but the se-r is swaying my attention!!

Nah most of the plate covers will just sit over the plate,,More of a decoration I guess...But I have seenn some plate covers though that the plate actualy sits inside a little lip on the cover....So maybe just going to your local parts store you can maybe find one of those......

Re: 2k +up corner bulbs

Try going to the hardware store and buying either some liquid rubber sealant, or maybe some double sided tape.

Or you could just generally glue some foam to the back of the plate.

Whatever you do, just make a thin layer, but what it'll do is make a soft boundary between your plate and your car which'll protect the paint.

*thumbs up*
