I've finished, see another thread for pictures.
I added the weathering by airbrushing Tamiya buff with some flat base for extra flat result on the lower parts of the car. I also almost made a big mistake, because a front wheel strut snapped and I had to glue it back and while I held the model on my hands that damn soft Tamiya yellow got some fingerprints on it. It has been curing for nearly two months and still it's so soft... I think from now on I'll be only using automotive paints for painting bodies (unfortunately I have to limit using them to summer months because I don't have a place with sufficiently good ventilation to use them indoors). Thankfully I managed to rub them out, but the weathering got damaged on the driver side front fender. I think that's it for the Pug now, thanks all for comments along the way ![]() -Mikko |
