Here is some progress on the clk body before the clear coating step.
Base paint is Tamia TS paint Deep Metalic Blue
The degrade is airbrush with TAMIYA TS French Blue, this is my first degrade try, is not awfull but i need to progress
And of course the decal are the s27 one, easy to put, very opaque white, marvellous !!!!
Now stop talking here is pics, enjoy, comments,... and see you soon after clear coating step.

Thumbs up

Was wondering what happen to this project 835.
Long time no hear from you.

Fantastic work on the Merc!
Good CF decaling skills: decals applied over contours of the various parts was excellent! Not to mention the uniqueness of a driver included too.

Awaiting your last job of clear coating the merc

hi groups,
no pics this time, just want to say that body is clear coat ,and windows trim paint black.

But i want to ask advice to the members who have already done the clk.

About front wheel arches, do you glue them to the body like tamiya paper say, or do you glue them on the motor frame ?

I did mine onto the body. If you glued yours to the motorframe, I think it would leave a bigger gap than it already has. Definitely follow the instructions.
