It's actually only a square of the velocity, but it's still pretty signifcant. What this means is that at 120 MPH, the aero drag ix 4x what it is at 60 MPH, and is 8x at 180 MPH. The full equasion and a brief description can be found at http://www.insideracingtechnology.com/tech102drag.htm

Re: New racers in town...

honestly it seems like BS to me, but I can understand not knowing the years on the lude or cougar... my cousin has an 01 cougar and I don't know anythign about them or that they don't make them, and I thought preludes were still made... if its a gay car like that I don't pay attention to detail, just the front end when I pass them... well after my clutch is fixed that is haha

I always thought teams were like, a movie thing? Oh wait, thats right, they are. My team consists of me in my Lancer (w00t, actually I know its a pissant car, but its good for a first car), my friends 95 Volvo something or other that has a turbo badge on it, yet between every one on my 'team' we can't find the turbo, and my other friend's 19eighty somthin Civic. We should get like, stickers or somethgn that say w are all on a team, and try to take back the sonic off 121 from the CHS kids, who all drive jeeps and pickups, lol.

"Street racer" teams are for fags. Whatever happened to just being friends and racing?

Thats what most teams are, friends who race together.

Re: New racers in town...

Yeah, but it also causes the ricer attitude to come out in all of them

Not saying they're bad on paper, but it's the zealous attitude they get about their team that's bad.
