The discussion becomes really bad

I think the thread should be locked.

I was giving my view aswell. It seems that my view is not wanted because the main response I got was to "Log out". Go ahead, close the thread if you like and I'll delete it, I see no purpose of even stating opinions of mine on here anymore. I respect everyone and everything and I don't hate on anyone but doesn't look like it's that towards me. My favourite saying is "Peace, Unity, Respect" I've stuck by that for along time now, always will to. Maybe some people should take that into account next time the decide to "give me their opinions".

It's up to you Pman, close it and I will delete this or keep it open if you think stating opinions on here is valued. Think it through, I know I have
By the way Pman you are also another legend admin on these boards, you are much respected and looked up to by alot of people, including me. Just thought I'd add that in as another part of sharing my opinion.

Well, this just proves a fact doesn't it

You always have to wonder why some people are entitled to an opinion, they don't seem to be able to use their mind to state it.

Do I know you? I don't remember ever disagreeing with you or even having a conversation with you.

And it's OK for you to give your opinion, but not for anyone else who has a different one to yours? Grow up, will you? And please stop telling everyone what to build and how to build it - we make models for ourselves, just like, hopefully, you do, it's a hobby, not a job. What did you expect? That all of us head to that other forum? Or all start building lowriders? I gave you three valid suggestions - stop whigning and make AF not so boring by posting your models, don't build models that you don't want to build, and if AF's not good enough - feel free to leave. Surely you don't expect u to fall in line and start begging you to stay, or even take us to lil with you

I don't have a major grudge against you at all so don't get the wrong idea please, Alex.
You cant remember the person who was once asking you about Estonia, where my grand father came from. That was me, ever since he died when I was 4 I've wanted to meet someone on the internet I could talk to about Estonia, that's why I contacted you last year when I first joined.
Grow up? I still am I'm only 16, I'm not telling people how to build anything or what to build, I might not be as "wise" as someone older then me but I can understand that it is a hobby, that's why I don't spend all my money on it.
I post some of my models which never seems to interest many people because they probably just see my name on the thread and go, oh well. There you go telling me I can leave, I know I can and I'va already stated why I don't wish to, there are some really nice people on here. I don't think anyone would beg me to stay at all I never expected that at all.
I didn't expect people to goto Lay It Low and start building lowriders either. I was providing some fellow modellers with a different type of model that we seem to never experience here. So shoot me if I was telling people to start building anything. Very friendly place on AF if you get referred to as a loser for posting opinions.

Well, that's fair enough, I'm all for showing off as many different kinds of models and introducing new communities, but you could have done it without actually slating this forum - I think that's what ticked some, including me, off.

As for the loser - I've never used the loser smiley as I'm having a hard time thinking of a situation where it'd be appropriate. Neither do I remember calling anyon a loser on this board, ever. And neither do I have a grudge about you.

I'm glad we got that sorted then. I will try my hardest to introduce you all to some different models. I'm even thinking about doing a WRX and an S2000, but as very different versions though

AF is still good for beginners, but i know wut u mean. There r a LOT of supercars and sportcars. I dont care for either. i like to see the integras or supras and street cars. And i hate the people that put up a post about one shitty car that is stock except for a decal I think people should put more time into models. u see all these people who have 150 models and all of them are shit. Y dont u guys get 10 good models. Spend more than a week on it man. People dont like to see a bunch of shit. Id rather see 2 good cars over 100 shit cars.

Some points about AF:

1. The fact is, page views are way more on Supra's, 350Z's or any Tuner etc. because they are obviously most popular here. If that bores you then chances are it's just not worth your while to be here, don't complain about boredom. There is something to appreciate about every model on here if you keep an open mind about it.

2. A modeler should build the model to please him/herself, not the AF viewer, so you shouldn't throw color or subject ideas at the modeler's here. If someone wants an idea, they'll ask for opinions and suggestions. So complaining that, 'you guys are building the same thing over and over, and you never paint them the color that I want you to', doesn't cut it. If you want to see a car in a unique color YOU build it.

3. One thing that might help is, if everyone that posts a progress or finished thread puts the kind of car or model it is in the description. This way one can look at the description and choose whether or not it intertests them. Most people here do a good job of it, there is room for improvement.

4. There are all levels of skill and interest represented here, that is a good thing. There are no shitty models here, just different skill levels, it's wrong to pin that label on a model that someone has done their best on just because it doesn't meet your approval. In short, a lot of this whole thread is more about attitude than anything else, so look in the mirror and figure it out. AF is not here for YOU, AF was here, YOU showed up.

Why dont you make something different yourself if you think there is to much "boring" stuff here for you to look at.

If people injoy making these models...who cares....surely this is what modelling is all about..YOU MAKE WHAT YOU WANT, AND FOR YOURSELF !!
Too true Pman. To each his own. Build that lowrider and post pictures here. I am sure the members here would show you the same courtesy as they do the other types of model cars. Just enjoy the hobby. We all build model cars. That is all that counts. My

Thanks for the link Dag65!

To everyone else I know AF was here before me, obviously. But maybe I just thought there would be more variety in what is just about the only model forum on the internet. At least this thread has provided the oportunity for alot of people to voice opinions, I no longer car about that idiot that called me a loser because I posted this thread. That's his opinion, he doesn't want to know what mine is about him

Wink Totally boring it is je je je

My god is this boring!!!!

43 post and no tips, no pics, any reports on ANY kind of car or style of car, no advices and most important any track of plastic, resin, metal or even wood that reflects the man, women, passion, culture, history etc. behind it.

That's what's totally boring...IMHO
