well if thats the case, i apologise. Like i said, im not sure who owns what but it just came to me that i saw those pics b4 but the person who posted it didnt mentioned living in the states. Anyway, if what u say is true so be it, havent got time to go back and read the old posting.
did u say u bought it for 20,000US? that about 2.3-2.4 million yen. I know even non V-specs do not go for that even at Japan auctions. In fact damaged 'VSpec's' are priced at nearly the 3 million mark. Damaged repairable. Please tell us your secrets. |

Heyaa N/A ,, well ok there is no secret here this is what the car sells for in United Arab Emirates,,, R33's are harder ti find but they are dirt cheap like 15 or so ,, Toyota Aristos you know the same as GS300 but Twin Turbo also is cheap ,, Evolutions VI and VII also sold here for a lot less than other markets ,,,
I think its a good bargain I could not ressist when I saw the prices I had to buy it,, I knew about it for a while I was just waiting to come back ,, lemme go to some of the Japanese car dealers and I will post there numbers if you would like and you can call up and check on the prices yourself if anyone would like.... so probably tomorow I will post some car lots numbers and u can call up and ask for Aristos, Evos, and Skylines.... |

Oh I wont be checking BBD, Ill be ringing up to buy one!! I do know that or i have heard that in Dubai GTR's are cheaper. but I thought it was only in Dubai, as appose to from Japan.
Please post some sites so we can visit them and maybe buy some cheap GTR's. |

Middle East Cars
Everyone read this very carefully.
The Cars are cheap in the Middle East because they are stolen! I own a modified R34 GTR in England, so am not talking BS. Several English owners of GTRs who bought cars in the Middle East (Dubai etc) have had them confiscated by the police since they are stolen in Japan. Think about it - why else can they be sold for half the auction prices in Japan......... I am supressing more rage right now than I care to disclose. Not about the stolen car rings (it happens everywhere), but rather about the fact that a left hand drive conversion was done on a Skyline R34 with parts from the OEM bin, for very little money. For years I have swallowed that bullshit excuse from Nissan about the turbo plumbing being in the way of a left hand steering column, and then, here we have one. I feel decieved, I feel deprived, and I am flat out pissed about it.
Anyone else angry about the fact that North America is deprived of Japans best models? Phil

I was actually enjoying reading this thread until the stolen issue came up. Now I am depressed.
As much as I would want an R34 GTR I could not own or drive one that I know was stolen from some poor guy. To have his pride and joy stolen so someone else can have it just puts me off big time.
