Well apparently according to the text you are right... I'm sorry I have never heard of a DOHC F22.... You got me!!

However I never saw anything about an H22 in the 4G Accord.... Can you fill me in on that?

And as far as further argument? There is no need, I already have an H22 in my Accord and wouldnt want anything else. Anything else would be less!! Peace!

whoops! i thought you ment it never came in the 4th gen prelude. but now i see that you meant accord, and you are right, it never came in the accord. on the 1st page you just said "4th generaton" but not accord. mah bad.

F22 SOHC or DOHC Issue

there is both a SOHC and a DOHC...the SOHC puts out 135HP and the DOHC puts out 160...both are non-VTEC. I have a F22B DOHC w/ a T66 turbo with front mount intercooler and at 8psi I put out a little between 290 and 295HP. There are DOHC F22Bs out there, and they go for a sweet price of about 800 shipped and ready for swap.

yeah in the US. but in japan the 92-96 prelude si comes with, get this, a DOHC non vtec f22b.
