Body Kit Installation Costs?

How much is it to get a full body kit installed on the car, without getting it painted? I am getting the Combat aftermarket kit. It will fit on better because its made of the blue fiberglass that is a little thicker and more flexible for a better fit. If anybody knows any places I can call in the Orange County area please let me know, or if anybody has gotten abody kit installed, tell me how much it was.

I know he never said it was painted. i assumed he wanted his car to look good. If youre not gonna paint it, just leave it stock. I cant stand when people mount unpainted kits

Hah, don't jump to conclusions dude. I am getting my car repainted by 1 Day Paint and Body and they really hate dealing with body kits and told me they would install it for $500 if they had to. They recomended getting it installed by someone else then just have them paint the whole car with no extra charge. It will look "unclean" for at most a few days. Heaven Forbid!

that $500 seems like the right amount of money.

I'd rather have someone do it correctly than have me do it improperly, but that seems silly to pay the same amount as the kit costs to just install it.

It depends on where you go. Do you want any body shop, or a body shop that's involved with the scene? I'd suggest Auto Explosion. They're in Gardena. I'm not sure how far that is from you. They've done ALOT of show cars, and they're one of the cheaper shops. The main ones I think are JT Autobody, 20/20 Autobody (where I had my car done) J&S Extreme, PJ Bonaficio's and Auto Explosion. Let me know if you need numbers. You still looking for interior? Like I said, give Kreative a call at (626)288-0565. Ask for Hung...As a matter of fact, I'll call for you and ask. I'm assuming you have a hatch, so I'll ask about a price difference since mine was $1795 for a 4 dr.

Yea, if you could do that for me, I'd appreciate it. And also do they have like other kinds of packages for cheaper? That place should have a website. About the body kit...now I'm strongly just thinking about getting the Wings West RS kit, that just has sideskirts and front and back lower lips. I'll just get a good looking front grill and be set. Installation costs for that will be very low. Not to mention that the kit is also made out of urethane and will cost me around $430 with free shipping from ebay.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to call them yet. If you get the lips, are you going to have them molded? That would be pretty slick. Like I said, just let me know if you need any more info. I'll definitely give Kreative a call tonight when I get off work.
