no! you're an idiot!! i need that body kit and a 8-foot-wide carbon fiber spoiler for the downforce so my 18 second car with its stripped interior won't lift off the road when i hit 60 mph.

but seriously, and i know this is a bit off-topic, but does a rear spoiler even help a fwd car at all? i always thought it would slow the car down because the downforce would shift the weight bias to the rear and decrease traction of the driving wheels.

I think civic's & fwd cars should put the big ass wing on the front of the car then it might serve a purpose... naa i take that back i dont like anything on a civic ehhhhh...

Im getting a SR20 swap and it has nothing to do with super street or any of the crap. I just want a cheap car that will go fast and handle the corners well. Thats why everyone is getting a swap, because $3000 used 240sx + $3000 sr20 swap = mid 14 second car with a nearly new engine for $6000.

After the car is fast, who cares what they do to the exterior. Theres nothing wrong with making your car look good. Its their car lettem do what they want.

Some people prefer form over function......I dont. Granted a big ass GT Wing WILL help an SR powered dragster....

If you want a good drag motor, a KA-T is actuamally the better way....

Have you ever looked at the headlights there awesome. I wanted them since I first saw an Option video. When Everybody started getting them I started thinking that I shouldn't but why not get what I love Get Tein suspension Sr20det and have the ultimate drift car.

Yea KA-T is good for dragging, but the SR has a powerband more suited to track racing. It also has better cooling capacity and tuning potential.

tein suspension isnt going to make you a better drifter. sure it will help some but you will still crash. having s15 lights is going to make that crash a very expensive one

Having a 1989 KA24DE equipped car is the ultamite drift machine as long as you have skill.......you DO Need LSD though....

not the ULTIMATE drift machine...but as long as you know what to do with it, it's adequate. of course, as with almost everything, higher end parts make it work better and drive better.

what's the deal?

the jdm parts, such as the kit wheels engine are nice/better than what's available stateside.

more power, better looks? that's why i personally dig jdm stuff. it has nothing to do with being from japan or exclusive.

on the wing on an fwd car, yeah, it helps...

why do you think the integra type r has one?
drive on in an autocross or track event with and w/o the wing, you'll feel the difference.

(i'm not condoning big fugly wings, but downforce in the rear of an fwd car can still serve a purpose)

First off the dude is not into drag racing or any of that shit. He just wants a Silvia s15. The s15 is probably one of Nissans best looking car. Why do you have to attack the guy and claim he reads Super Street? Just because he doesn’t want to be a Ricer and get I Civic or throw ricer mods on a 240sx to make it fast doesn’t mean he is a bad person. I think he wants to build the car for show and daily driving not for drag racing/autocross/drifting. All he wanted to know is how much it would cost he has about 30k to put into the car altogether.

The 240sx is just plain ugly as is the s13 s14 Silvia. The s15 is the only one that does not look dated. If you all want to take shity engines and boost them to hell blow them that’s your own thing. Some people are into cars for show not speed. If you want a drag car get a Mustang that’s what they are good at.


Ok im just rambling now so im going to stop. I just hate it when a bunch of ricer come on and bash people for not wanting to build a fast car.
