the 2000(?) cobra was rated at 320, and didn't make the right whp for 320 crank hp...

power numbers are pretty accurate now...

in the 60's, they weren't... and japanese supercars are the same way...

but for the most part, the numbers are pretty true...

most companies underrate as a safety net...

Question

How much horse power would u estimate to be in a 2000 gti vr6 with a AEM cold air intake and a axle back exhaust....... and is it true that the 99 and 2000 gti vr6's have a smaller engine than the newer models?

No, but the '99, '00 and '01 have the 12 valve VR6, the '02+ have the 24 valve.
