Wow, it's simply amazing! This kind of cars are really not my style, but I have to admit you did a fantastic job on this one! Congrats!

great Challenger, excellent stance and very well done graphics on the black paint. My dad had one of these before I came along, ahh..if only he still had it.

Excellent work.

If I may offer some assistance with the paint polishing...... what type of clear are you using? Get yourself some automotive urethane, if you haven't already...... you can polish the "S" out of it and not burn through. Start with a little finer grit sand paper. I start with 2400. I find that 1000-1500 leaves scratches a little too deep on a model. 1:1 cars no problem, but not a 1:24th scale model. Starting with the 2400, just work your way up to 12000.... you can pick up a polishing kit with either sanding pads or cloths for under $30. If you keep them clean and dry after use, they should last a good long while.
Then you can polish the rest out with 3M compund followed by Scratch X.... this is how I work it. I was taught this method by the masters...... Dave T., Clay Kemp, & Brian Fascia.... I'm sure you've seen their work. It's nothing short of incredible!! If you haven't, go over to the WIP section and check out their stuff.....
I want finer but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is 12000 the other grit measurement? I know there are 2 different units for describing sand paper but I don't remember what they're called. Around where I live there isn't a lot to choose from. Is the kit you're talking about for automotive polishing or something made just for models? Sounds like something I could use for sure. Thanks for the help.

Check this out: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXC975&P=ML I highly recommend this website; I've had only good experiences with them. I use this kit myself, but usually only polish up to 4000 grit before using compound. The kit comes with 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, and 12000 grits, which are in the same measuring system as the 1200 and 2000 that you use. It's REALLY fine. Hope that helps!

Oh--almost forgot--the model looks AMAZING!! The stance and paint are great! (I know that's what everyone else has said, but I already had that in mind before reading their responses )

Alex

WOW, that is one mean looking ride. I had to take a second look, I thought for a minute it was a real car. It's already been said, but I will say it again. The paint and stance on that are killer. Not bad for a rattle can paint job.
