If you can, make the taillight brightness weaker,so it won't look like you're braking...
If you had a Skyline, would you slow down???????????????
No,so weaker taillights would be more acurate(for a skyline driver)

hahah i like ur thinking... yea maybe tail lights not as bright is a good thing =)

Those LEDs... the white ones are pretty expensive, if I remember correctly, they're around 1 to 2 bucks each, the 5mm ones are cheaper... but forgot the exact price :-\

why dont you just put a stronger resistor the back LEDs as long as you didnt hooked it up in a seriel circuit with the head lights.

damn.. those lites would definitely piss me off on the street at nite!!

both teg and skyline look super.. real cool in the dark, esp. the resistors need to be there to limit the current through the leds. if too much current flows through them they can burn out quicker. excellent job!

Resistor value depends on the voltage of the power source and the way you wire the LEDs and resistors together.
When I get to design my own I might post the wiring diagram for you guys. I work for a well known company that makes engine & transmission controllers for major car makers. :smoker2: I am a sw guy and I work around hw engineers.
