Question How Do I Import A Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec to the US?

I have been saving every little smidgen of my income to blow on a superior import car and the one in my dreams is a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec. I have about 65,000 dollars saved up and was hoping someone would tell me how i could get one of these cars besides E-Bay.
Thanks.

Have you tried contacting Motorex? They are the only ones who can comply the Skyline in the US if you are wanting to import one.

The only way to legally import a skyline is:
1) Go through a licensced automotive importer
2) Import for "show and display" only
3) Import for "race only"

To date, D.O.T. records show that no-one has successfully gotten a waiver to import a car for either "show and display" or "race only". This leaves you with option 1) MOTOREX.

Let us know how it turns out when you save the additional $20,000 you will need to pay MOTOREX. Or you could just go out and buy a Corvette or a used Porsche or Viper.

Look on the bright side, at least you have $65,000. Personnally I would just avoid the wait and get a ZO6, it will beat the pants off the stock Skyline anyway.

Peace,
